Tangtang
I'm Tangtang (she/they), I learned how to bike as a utilitarian way of life in the 80s, then took a break from riding before rediscovering and reconnecting to it as joy and resistance on the ancestral and unsurrendered lands and territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), səlil̓ilw̓ətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) peoples.
Cycling has since become one of my favourite ways for discovering nooks and crannies of the world, and meeting people, land, and plant and animal kins. I really appreciate the opportunity as an instructor to facilitate and witness the remarkable moments of joy, courage, connection, reclamation, and freedom folks find on their bicycles.
